This week I read The Dionaea House and the literary Concept that I felt enhance the story was Tone. Tone is the vibe the story gives the reader. Throughout all the emails it gives an ominous tone like something is going to go wrong for Mark. It starts off saying that hopefully the emails will help the reader understand why he did what he did so you already have a slight fear yet desire to continue. You become so enveloped in the story even though you're only reading one side of it. It's almost as if Mark is writing to you to help him figure out what happened to Andrew that made him a killer. When Mark eventually goes missing it raises so many new questions and fears on top of what you already had. Where's Mark? Who was in the house? Were the bones in the road his? Then, without much information Eric goes missing and it's up to Mark's girlfriend Jenny to figure it out. But it leaves you with a cliffhanger if you don't follow the link. What happened to everyone?

This is a good analysis of tone in The Dionaea House! I especially like your definition of tone as"the vibe the story gives the reader."
